Taj Boston is noted for fine dining in The Cafe, afternoon tea in The Lounge, and cocktails in The Bar
Taj Boston, renowned for its cherished traditions, classic style and award-winning service, has welcomed guests from around the world since it first opened its doors in 1927. It was acquired by Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces in January 2007, its second hotel in the US.
Located at the corner of the fashionable Arlington and Newbury streets, Taj Boston overlooks the charming Public Garden. Surrounded by art galleries, boutiques and restaurants, Taj Boston is close to the Theater District, historic sites, and shopping at Copley Place and the Hynes Convention Center.
It has 273 guestrooms, including 45 suites, many of which offer wood-burning fireplaces. As a preferred social and business center, Taj Boston is noted for its fine dining in The Cafe, afternoon tea in The Lounge, and cocktails in The Bar, as well as state-of-the-art business and guest services.
The hotel underwent a complete restoration in 2002 to celebrate its 75th anniversary. New services and amenities were added, and a prized collection of original art and antiques is now on display throughout the hotel.
